MEET THE FOUNDER

Harrison Savage is a rehabilitation counselor who mentors adolescences to help grow their social skills while providing guidance, counseling and assistance in monitoring activities in daily living skills. After spending over a decade counseling and mentoring adolescences, Harrison is dedicated in his quest to a difference in the lives of all youth ,girls and boys alike. 

Harrison, a Veteran and Entrepreneur, served in the United States Air Force where he received a honorable discharge and numerous awards, including the Meritorious Service Award and the Outstanding Unit Award, as well as the USAF Letter of Appreciation. In addition to his years of working in counseling, Harrison is also the owner of Savage and Son Property Rentals. 

Harrison holds a Bachelors’ degree in Rehabilitation Services from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and a Masters’ degree in Mental Health Counseling from Fort Valley State University. And currently works for Veterans Affairs.

Dr. Ronnie Holden-

Dr. Ronnie E. Holden is an Eastern Shore native and product of Accomack County Public School System. He will run for the District 8 seat on the Accomack County School Board in November General Election. In 1991, Ronnie was appointed as a member of the Accomack County School Board and has served as chair and vice-chair for several terms. While serving as a Board member, Dr. Holden was instrumental in the successful implementation of Phase I and Phase II of the School Division’s building plan. This consisted of the construction of four new elementary schools and two new middle schools while renovating the two elementary schools built in the early 60’s. Ronnie was also instrumental in recommending that ACPS organize and implement the first school division swim team.

Darnell Watson

Darnell Watson graduated Arcadia H.S. (Oak Hall, Va.) in 1982 .  Retired from U.S.Army in 2003, after serving 21 years.  Currently employed at United States Postal Service in Columbia, S.C.  Married to Janice for 34 beautiful years.  We have two children a son Darnell (deceased) and a daughter Darnesha.  Our young people today especially  young men are in need of guidance and love.  Prayerfully God will continue to use me to have a positive influence in their lives.  My goal is to encourage our young men to love and respect themselves and be productive in society.

Tyrone Johnson

Tyrone Johnson is a Senior Consultant in the field of Electrical Engineering and System Integration. Tyrone specializes in Network, Rail, and Aviation technologies that adhere to the highest standards and practices. A firm believer in the power of positive thinking and influential presence, Tyrone regularly participates in self-development webinars, professional courses and organizations, and virtual media clubs. Tyrone enjoys downtime with the family and a good horror movie.

Gardner Douglas

Gardner Douglas is an Army Veteran and business owner in the DC Metro Area. Husband and Father of 2 Gardner spends his time podcasting and educating people about aquaculture and sustainability.

Julius Cropper

Julius Cropper served in the US Army for 10 years.  I found a interest in working with the youth while in the military and opened up a barbershop to be able to reach out to them.

Robert Tull

Robert Tull was born and raised in New Church, VA. He graduated from Arcadia in 2001 and is a graduate of Ashford University in 2010 with a BA in Criminal and Social Justice. Robert has served in the United States Air Force Reserves for 19 years and with plans to retire in 2023. He is married to his wife, Catrina, and they have 3 children together in Greensboro, NC. Robert has served the citizens of High Point, NC for the past 6 years as a police officer. His current role is as a School Resource Officer at a local High School. Robert is also a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated. With his passion for philanthropy and community service, Robert seeks to serve as a mentor to many like him. He is a believer in Christ and stands firm on Luke 12:48 which reads, “To whom much is given, much is required.

Rhyeem Johnson

Born and raised in Accomac County, Ryheem graduated from Arcadia High School in 2009 and immediately set off for college. He attended Goldey-Beacom College in Wilmington, DE where he earned his Bachelor’s in Accounting and an MBA with a concentration in Marketing Management. After getting married in 2017 he relocated to the DMV. During his career journey he had the opportunity to be the
Business Office Manager for Boys Town DC. This Nationally known non-profit serves the youth and helps save families in multiple ways. Although Ryheem ran the Business Office he found several opportunities to work with the youth by creating openings for them to get hours of community service for working
with him. This allowed him to create bonds with several youth on campus as he established great rapport on a weekly basis. This allowed him to be able to a staff member of preference during some crisis moments. Ryheem has also volunteered as a ‘Big Brother’ at his former church and helped with homework assignments, peer pressure issues, and other at home issues. Ryheem believes every kid should have an adult that they feel like they can talk to about anything.

Antonio Kellam

Antonio Kellam is a native of the Eastern Shore Virginia. He is a proud alumnus of Arcadia High School class of 2009. He is also a proud alumnus of Norfolk State University with a B.S. in Electronic Technology,  and a M.S in Computer Science. Antonio has worked with the youth throughout his tenure including being a NSU student ambassador, a member of National Society of Black Engineers, a member of the Pi Gamma Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated, summer programs, and coding academy. Antonio currently works at Newport News Shipyard as a Systems Application Analyst. He also coaches varsity boys basketball at Menchville High School in Newport News, VA. He has been coaching for 5 years overall, including AAU travel basketball. While coaching he has traveled up and down the east coast speaking at several different youth services encouraging them to chase their dreams.

Michael Chandler

Michael T. Chandler is a native of The Eastern Shore of Virginia. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Norfolk State University, a Master of Science degree in Accounting at Liberty University and a Master of Divinity Degree at Virginia University of Lynchburg in Lynchburg, Virginia. Currently he is enrolled in the Doctor of Ministry program at the Lenard N. Smith School of Religion at Virginia University of Lynchburg. Michael is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. where he serves as the President of his Chapter. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Cape Charles Rosenwald School Initiative as the Treasurer. He is a member of the the NAACP. Mr. Chandler is dedicated to see those in his community excel in life.

Rontell Crosby

Rontell Crosby- originally from the Eastern Shore of Virginia now currently living in Raleigh, NC. I am a graduate of Arcadia High School and graduate at Norfolk State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Currently, I work at UNC Hospitals as an Accounting Specialist. In my spare time, I love watching basketball, football and playing those sports whenever I have a chance. Playing video games like NBA 2K and Madden in my spare time while I'm at home. I have volunteered for Big Brother Big Sister in the past. Also, in high school I volunteered at Puncoteague Elementary School with the gym teacher to assist with the activities once a week during my senior year at Arcadia. I enjoy mentoring and guiding kids to make the right choices in life and always to remain focused and setting goals for themselves. I am honored to becoming a mentor with Mentoring my men and being able to make difference in someone’s life.
